Our Owner

Jeremy SIzemore is a Central Coast local thru-in-thru. He grew up in Morro Bay where he loved to skateboard, surf, make art, and hang out with friends. He attended Morro Elementary and after his parents moved the family to North County in Jr. High, he graduated from Templeton High School to a graduating class of around 40 students.

After High School Jeremy went to College/University studying philosophy, theology and psychology while helping mentor youth and managing several surf and skate shops. He then decided to traveling the world while both working in and starting several NGO’s and non profits that helped the poor and hurting around the world. After traveling to Thailand (and Southeast Asia), Egypt, England, Japan, Mexico, etc. for 12+ years he finally landed back in the Central Coast. He started working in Specialty Coffee as a manager in a cafe, importing coffee with students at Cal Poly, roasting coffee for a small roaster in North County, and finally starting Spearhead Coffee with 2 friends in 2014.

From there he bought, renovated, and rebranding High Tide in Morro Bay. Jeremy's love for the Central Coast and Morro Bay has only grown. He currently is involved in 4 businesses (High Tide, Spearhead Coffee, Avila Market, and Pismo Pierside Marketplace) with more vision on the horizon. He loves music and nature and has a HUGE wanderlust. His goal in all his ventures is to promote creativity, community, and compassion in both his local and global community!
